75th Anniversary Celebration

We are celebrating the legacy of our founder Roy Kumpe and the heritage of World Services for the Blind over the past 75 years. In memory of Roy, we will present his son, Peter Kumpe, with the Vision Award. Roy Kumpe’s vision to see the blind achieve sustainable independence through basic skills for daily living to open employment opportunities has changed many lives across Arkansas, the Nation and the World. Roy's goal was to free visually handicapped adults from misplaced paternalism and provide individuals with the opportunity for a sense of productivity and self-respect. This vision continues to grow as over 16,000 clients have come through World Services for the Blind training programs. We invite you to join with us in this great celebration!
